The project will provide technical expertise to the National Science Foundation, Division of Science Resources Statistics on designing a salary question for the Survey of Earned Doctorates. The Division will receive an analysis indicating whether including a salary question on the Survey of Earned Doctorates provides good quality data without hindering the quality of other Survey of Earned Doctorates data. Work also includes designing a field of bachelor's degree question on the American Community Survey and statistical analyses on the Survey of Earned Doctorates.
