This project will provide for the organization of the 2007 Geospace environment Modeling (GEM) workshops. The GEM workshops were organized by faculty at Rice University. The calendar year 2007 marks a transitionary period for the organization of the workshops to move to a new home. During the transition, the organization and management of the workshops will be shared between Rice University and Virginia Polytechnic University. There will be two workshops organized for 2007, a one week workshop in June and a one day mini-workshop to be held in conjunction with the fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union.
