In the sub-project C04, measurement methods for spatial- and time-resolved measurements of strain and temperature in machined workpieces are investigated. For this purpose, thin film sensors are integrated in a test specimen and strain and temperature are measured in situ. The second project phase focuses on a further development, analysis and application of the test specimen. For validating the measurement with spatial- and time-resolved resolution, models will be built along with experimental results. Active collaboration with F-projects for in situ measurement with the improvised version of the test specimens is proposed to verify the analytical process models and to setup Process Signatures together with the signature teams.
