VD 18: Cataloguing and Digitisation of 18th Century Imprints published in the German-speaking Area of Europe from the Collections of Rostock University Library

The project is part of the national programme ¿Digitisation and Cataloguing of Printed Material Published in the 18th Century in the German-Speaking Area of Europe¿ (VD18). It explicitly refers to the DFG¿s call for proposals for the main phase of VD 18. The aim of the project is, 1) to catalogue according to the national bibliographic standard the prints assigned to Rostock University Library from the VD18 coordination database, and 2) to provide high quality digital images on the internet according to the relevant DFG standards and rules. All in all, Rostock University Library will catalogue and digitise around 2,000 titles with about 260,000 Images within a period of 12 months.
