VD 18: Digitisation and Cataloguing of 2000 18th century monographs according to the reservationof titles in the VD 18 project database

According to the DFG "Digitisation and Cataloguing of the 18th century German prints (VD 18)" tendering procedure belonging to the DFG Department for Information Services (lndexing and Digitisation) a selection of 2.000 monographs from the holdings of the Hamburg State and University Library Carl von Ossietzky - selected by the project coordination board - are to be catalogued following the Old Book Cataloguing Standards and VD-18-rules; subsequently they will be digitised, provided with structural metadata according to the DFG digitisation rules and be released for publication on the web platforms of the Hamburg State and University Library, ZVDD and German Digital Library.
