Main focus of the transfer project T03 is the manufacturing of fiber-reinforced structures with integrated actuator-sensor-arrays. The objective of T03 is the transfer of the results developed within the CRC/TR 39 in terms of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic components with integrated piezoceramic modules to industrially applicable and economically producible fiber-reinforced structures with integrated actuator-sensor-arrays. Possible applications for such arrays cover e. g. diagnostic systems for safety related components; air ducts and intake systems with integrated systems for flow rate and temperature measurements or structures with additional sensory functions.
