本年度は、グレゴリオスにおける万物回復論と社会倫理との結びつきについて考察した。具体的には、「すべての人間が救われて真理の認識に達することを望まれている」（『テモテへの手紙一』２章４節）神の愛の模倣を人間の宗教的完成（神化）と捉える思想が彼の万物回復論の根拠にあることを論じた昨年度の研究成果を踏まえた上で、そのような神化の思想が、彼の社会倫理の根拠になっている点について新たに考察した。つまり、グレゴリオスにとって人間の神化は、貧者や病者の身体的必要への応答、困窮する人々との共苦、「滅んでしまっている人々の救い」のための執り成しといった他者との具体的な関わりを通して、キリストの愛を自らに映し出す存在へと変容していくことである点を解明した。さらに、人間が相互に、すべての人々の救いを追い求めて「共闘」する宗教的連帯の関係にあることを根拠に、グレゴリオスが、他者の身体的な必要にも応答する責任があることを論じている点を指摘した。以上の論点を、博士論文「ニュッサのグレゴリオスにおける万物回復論と共苦の社会倫理—人類的交わりに向かう連帯の宗教性—」としてまとめることができた。また、論文Ibuki Yamane, "Gregory of Nyssa’s Wager on Divine Goodness: Apokatastasis and Deification," The Japan Mission Journal, vol. 77, num. 1, Oriens Institution for Religious Research, 2023, pp. 30-8.を発表することができた。
