项目摘要

第一に，サプライチェーン・システムが有すると考えられる理論的な性質に関して，研究協力者の張燁明氏と共同しながら，これまで様々な理論的な視点から考察してきた．現在のところ，以下の点が明らかになっている．(１)サプライチェーンのネットワークを不完備契約の下でのプリンシパル‐エージェント関係として捉え，関係特殊的な「暗黙知」に着目する．(２)企業同士がマッチングする機会が周期的に訪れるターンパイク・モデルにおいて，エージェント企業が関係解消の履歴の評判から市場から退出させられる可能性から，閾値を境に定常均衡が動学的に分化する履歴効果が生まれる．(３)複数均衡のうち，稠密なサプライチェーン・ネットワークの下では，より高い経済厚生がもたらされる一方，関係が断絶した後に修復する速度が遅くなるというトレードオフが見られる．第二に，上記理論モデルに関連する研究のうち，「文化的進化」に関する哲学的，歴史的あるいは数学的な文献を渉猟，精読し，理論モデルの発展の可能性について考察してきた．第三に，日本の自動車部品産業に関して行ってきた実証分析を集めた著作集Information Agglomeration of Japanese Auto Parts Suppliers (SpringerBriefs in Economics, coauthored with Ichihiro Uchida)の出版が延期されたため，その対応を行ってきた．
