项目摘要

2022年度も新型コロナウイルス蔓延の影響を受け、研究の進行が計画通りにいかない状況が続いた。国境がほとんど閉ざされた状況の中で、台湾に進出する日系企業のビジネス環境はどのように変わったか、たとえば労働市場における賃金や高学歴化の進展、最低賃金の推移などをまとめ、同時に、2022年度を特徴づける円安と半導体不足の影響が、日系企業と台湾企業との立場をどのように変えたのか、2022年12月3日に挙行された九州経済学会の年次大会において発表を行なった。ベトナムにおいて同様の研究を行っている研究者との意見交換の中で、本研究の視点は台湾を超えて、東アジア全体でも論じるべきだとの示唆を得た。この学会発表に基づく論文は、本稿執筆時では査読中である。本研究は日系サービス企業が台湾に進出した際の現地従業員の活用を研究対象とするが外食産業やホテルだけでなく、物流分野にも広げて考察を行うことを試み、2021年度から日本の物流企業における雇用の実態を研究している。国外への調査が難しかった2022年度夏は、近隣の物流企業の経営者にヒアリング調査を行い、下記論文の執筆を行ない（國府俊一郎「トラックドライバーの時間外労働規制はディーセントワークを実現させるか」『経営論集』第44号, 大東文化大学経営学会, pp.15-31）2023年3月に刊行されている。今後台湾における物流企業との比較に活かす。最後に、新型コロナウイルス蔓延の落ち着いた2023年2月に、4年ぶりに台湾に出張し、先行研究の収集ならびに台湾に進出する日系企業の社員に対するヒアリングを実施することもできた。台湾の研究協力者とも再会し、今後の研究協力について具体的な打ち合わせができたほか、いくつかの企業を2023年夏以降に紹介を受けることになった。加えて4年を経て変わった台湾における日系企業のイメージを得たことも大きな収穫であった。
