项目摘要

本研究は，英語教師の専門的職務に対応した英語力を教職課程において育成する「英語教授課題遂行能力の育成 (English for teaching purposes，ETP)」プログラムの開発と評価を行う研究である。英語教師に必要とされる英語能力をトレーニングするためのプログラムを，「タスクに基づく言語教育」の枠組みに基づき開発する。2年次である2022年度の研究実績は次の通りである。(1) 第22回小学校英語教育学会(JES)四国・徳島研究大会において，研究成果の一部を「「教師英語」についてのモデル及び議論の総合的・批判的検討―効果的なティーチャー・トークについて考察するための基盤作り」として発表した。(2) ETPプログラムの構成要素である目標タスクのいくつかについて，授業観察，英授業実践動画の視聴及び分析を通して，その効果的な言語使用の特徴を特定した。(3) ETPプログラムの試作版として，スモール・トーク，新出文法の口頭導入，英文理解チェックのための発問作り，英文のパラフレーズ等のタスクを対象としたプログラム（教材及び活動）を開発し，英語教職課程の授業（英語コミュニケーション演習）において実施した。評価データも収集した。(4) 「教師英語」の分析やETPプログラム一部については，現職英語教員を対象とした研修（教材研究プロフェッショナル講座，2022年10月29日）の中でも実践した。ETPプログラムの開発は徐々に進んでいるが，研究論文という形ではまだ結実していない。

This study aims at developing and evaluating English for teaching purposes (ETP) in the context of English teacher's job responsibilities and English competence curriculum development. English teachers need to improve their English proficiency, so that they can develop basic language education. 2 years of research achievements in 2022. (1)At the 22nd JES Shikoku Chang Yong Research Conference, one of the research results was "Teacher English". (2)The constituent elements of the ETP program include the purpose of the program, the observation of the teaching, the visual analysis of the English teaching practice animation, and the specific characteristics of the speech use of the results. (3)ETP is a trial version of English teaching materials and activities, and English teaching courses are taught in English. The evaluation was conducted on the basis of the results obtained. (4)The analysis of "Teacher English" and the implementation of the ETP program are part of the training for current English teachers (Textbook Research Seminar, October 29, 2022). The development of ETP is in progress, and the research paper is in progress.
