2年目は、日本で使用可能なドメスティック・バイオレンス（DV）のリスクアセスメントツールの開発に向けて、諸外国において使用されているDVリスクアセスメントツールのレビューを実施した。　レビューの結果、Danger Assessment日本版に２つの改訂を行った。まず、これまでの予測妥当性研究のアウトカムとしては、「致死性の高い暴力」や、加害者側の再暴力（必ずしも同じ被害者ではない）が検討されてきた。また、再DVのリスクを判断には、被害者の脆弱性についての項目を含めることが、リスクアセスメント結果をマネジメントつなげる際に必要であることが明らかになった。Danger Assessmentの原板には、DVを受けた者の脆弱性をはかる項目が含まれていないため、追加する必要があると考えられた。先行研究から候補となる項目を選定し、Danger Assessment日本版に追加した。2つ目の改訂として、Danger Assessmentの前半で行うDVのカレンダーへの記入を省略することにした。初年度に実施したフォーカスグループインタビューの結果、①DV被害を思い出して記入することは侵襲性が高いだけでなく、②カレンダーに記載された内容の情報量が、面接者の熟練度（DV被害の相談経験や面接技術）によって大きくばらつく可能性が示唆されたことによる。先行研究によれば、オリジナルのDanger Assessmentのカレンダー作業を省略し、かつ、項目を5項目に減らしたバージョンの検討も行われている（Messing, Campbell, ＆Snider, 2017）。使用される国や文脈に応じた項目と実施法にする必要があると考えられる。上記の理由により、当初予定していた調査票の大幅改訂を行った。現在、全国シェルターネットの協力を得て調査を実施するための準備を進めている。
