项目摘要

新型コロナウィルス感染禍における看護活動のあり方、そして看護師の活動に対する社会の位置付けは、この3年間に大きな変化があった。今年度は、時系列に国内外のコロナ感染に関する看護師の活動を、文献、報道等の情報を整理し、その動向をまとめた、2020年のコロナ感染拡大時の混乱は、看護職者にとって未知のウィルスからの自身と患者の防御が使命とされ、不足する感染防御具、不足する医療機器、医療従事者の過労を招き、終わりの見えない混沌とした時期であった。自身の感染リスクを背負いながら、重症患者のケアに携わる看護師、過剰な労働負担を強いられた保健師、ワクチン接種のためにボランティアのごとく駆り出されていた看護師たちが奮闘していた。しかし、一方でウィルスに対する一般市民の目に見えない感染への恐怖は、感染者のケアを行う看護師への偏見と差別に繋がった。この状況は、コロナ感染の感染経路が明らかになるにつれ、患者数の増減に伴い、またワクチン接種済みの者が増加するにつれ、あからさまな看護師への差別的な処遇は減少してきた。しかし、新規感染者数、重症化患者数の動向、病床使用率等により、都度、重症患者の医療に目を向けられがちな状況の中で、通常のケアの何倍もの時間と労力を費やしている看護師の活動については、報道で取り上げられる事は少ない。以上のデータに、看護師の離職率、一施設の在職期間、ストレスのあり方、QOLなど、看護師の動向をマッピングして、看護職者の専門職倫理のあり方を検討している。
