本研究は、看護の専門性発揮の基盤となるマネジメント能力に焦点を当て、看護学士課程教育におけるマネジメント能力育成モデルを開発することを目的としている。看護専門職は、地域包括ケアの実現に向けて、人々や社会の多様なニーズに対応し、創造的に問題解決を図る専門性の発揮が必要である。看護の専門性は、看護基礎教育において基礎力を修得し、生涯学習により発展していく。そこで本研究では、マネジメント能力は専門性発揮の基盤であると仮説を立て、研究目標として以下の5点を掲げている。1、看護学士課程におけるマネジメント能力育成に係る教育の実態の明確化、2、地域包括ケアの実現を目指した看護の専門性発揮に必要なマネジメント能力の明確化、3、マネジメント能力育成の先駆的教育事例における教育成果の明確化、4、看護学士課程教育におけるマネジメント能力育成の課題の明確化、5、看護学士課程教育において必要なマネジメント能力育成モデルの開発である。本研究は2021年度に開始し、2021年度は、看護専門職者の「マネジメント能力」に関する先行研究をレビューし、マネジメントや近接する概念に関する教育の実態や、看護実践において必要なマネジメント能力を明らかにした。2022年度は、マネジメント能力を発揮している先駆的な看護実践事例や看護学におけるマネジメントに関する教育の実態調査の準備を開始した。具体的には、関連する教科書、看護管理や看護マネジメントに関する教育事例等から看護におけるマネジメントを整理した。
