今年度は、①沖縄がん教育サポートセンター（がん教育を推進する市民団体）の設立、②がん教育外部講師養成研修会の開催、評価、③研修会受講生によるがん教育授業のサポートを行った。①昨年度のがん教育外部講師研修会受講者２名（がん体験者）が発起人となり、医師、看護師等の関係者に協力を求め、10月26日、「沖縄がん教育サポートセンター」を設立した。メディアを通じて公表したことで、県民へ学校や社会におけるがん教育の必要性、意義について伝えることができたと考える。②11月26日、27日、がん教育外部講師養成研修会を開催（沖縄がん教育サポートセンター共催）し、その評価を行った。研修会では、学校教育関係者、国立がん研究センターがん対策研究所長、他県におけるがん教育実践者５名を講師として、学校におけるがん教育の意義、がん教育を行う上で必要とされる知識や心構え、要配慮事項、講師が実践している授業内容等の講話、及び児童生徒へ自身の体験を伝えるワークを行った。受講者は16名であった。受講者14名のアンケート結果では、「学校でのがん教育や外部講師の必要性が理解できた」「児童生徒へ伝えるときの留意点やわかりやすい伝え方について学ぶことができた」と好評であった。自身のがん体験を伝えるロールプレイについては「緊張したが、子供たちへ向けて話すことがイメージできた」「自分の心の中を整理して言葉にして伝えることが大変なことだがとても意味があると感じた」などの意見が聞かれ、外部講師に対して、12名が「機会があればやってみたい」と回答していた。③外部講師養成研修会を受講した2名が、県内中学校2年生を対象に、2023年1月、がん教育授業を実施し、授業担当教諭2名、沖縄がん教育サポートセンター代表1名、研究代表者にて、授業の振り返りを行った。来年度も、同中学校にて、外部講師養成研修会受講生の授業体験を計画することとなった。
