项目摘要

本研究の目的は、ウガンダ共和国（以下ウ国）学童の健康体重での発育に寄与し、NCDs予防・Universal Health Coverageに貢献するため、ウ国との協働による学童肥満予防プログラムのランダム化比較試験の試行・実施・評価を行うことであった。これを達成するために、１年目（2020年度）「プログラム試行」の計画では、目標１.プログラム試行と、目標２.プログラム試行後のプロセス評価、２年目（2021年度）に目標３. プログラム実施、３年目（2022年度）目標４.プログラム実施後のプロセス評価を行う予定であったが、2020～2022年度は新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大のためウ国への入国ができなかった。実施に関しては、研究のステークホルダーともオンラインで研究打合せを実施した。しかしウ国内の感染拡大が続いており、またエボラ出血熱やサル痘等の感染症発生も報告されたため、ウ国の研究協力者と協力機関（小学校，大学）によって研究受入が困難との方針が示され研究実施ができなかった。2022年度は代替手段としてオンラインによる研究打合せを３回行い、プログラム試行のための準備を進め、2023年度には協力機関でも現在の状況のままであれば、研究実施受入可能との方針である。また、研究代表者のホームページ更新を行い、本研究の成果を発信し続けている。更に、過去に実施したウ国での調査を雑誌に投稿し、今後の研究実施の基盤整備を進めた。
