项目摘要

本研究の目的は、住民が実践できる閉じこもり改善支援プログラムを開発することである。今年度は、プログラム開発に向けた現状把握を行った。地域で高齢者の見守り支援を実際に行っている民生委員や社会福祉協議会所属のボランティアを対象に、活動を行ううえで、支障になっていることやうまく支援に結び付いた事例の聞き取り調査を行った。その結果、以下が明らかとなった。集団の場への参加を拒む閉じこもり傾向のある高齢者には、民生委員による個別訪問が心理面の支援につながっていた。地域住民による高齢者の閉じこもり予防支援での課題の特徴として、子供と同居する高齢者は一人暮らしの高齢者に比べ、地域で把握されにくく、同居家族の高齢の親への捉え方が影響していた。住民互助による高齢者支援を効果的なものにするためには、どこに、どのような家族構成の人が住み、健康状態までも知っている住民同士の関係が根底にあった。この結果から、個別訪問支援に加え、地域に住むあらゆる年代の人々が顔見知りである地域環境づくりの取り組みも積極的に行っていくことで、高齢者の閉じこもり予防支援を有効なものにしていくことができると考えられる。個別支援と集団支援の両方向をプログラムに取り入れることの必要性を確認することができた。
