项目摘要

2021年度までにおいて以下の成果を上げてきた．・国内外におけるR&Bを代表する楽曲計100曲を対象に，伴奏からの歌唱音の逸脱量（本研究ではレイドバック量と定義）を調査した結果，国内の楽曲はレイドバック量が極めて小さい上，その時系列データにシステマチックな関係が見られなかった一方で，国外の楽曲ではレイドバック量が平均的に大きく，またこれらが旋律のフレーズ単位で周期的な変動を持つ傾向が確認できたことから，国外の楽曲における逸脱は意図的なものであり，さらにこれが強いグルーヴ感を表現するための重要な要素であるという仮説を立案した．・上述の仮説を立証するために，伴奏に対して歌唱を遅らせた刺激を用意し，これらに対するグルーヴ感を調査するための印象評定実験を実施した結果，国内の楽曲などグルーヴ感の低い歌唱はレイドバック量を大きくしても（歌唱音を伴奏から大きく逸脱させても）グルーヴ感が向上することはないことが明らかとなり，歌唱のグルーヴ感は，単純に伴奏からの逸脱量で表現できるものではなく，その周期的な変動を始めとする様々な抑揚と併せて表現され得るものであるということを示した．しかしながら，レイドバック量の周期的な変動や抑揚がどのようなものであるか，またそれらとグルーヴ感との関係については不明であることから，2022年度はレイドバック量の変動や抑揚を定量的に分析することによってグルーヴ感のメカニズムの解明するとともに，得られた研究成果の発表（国内外における学会や学術論文誌への投稿）を行う予定であった．
