项目摘要

2022年度は、コロナ禍に振り回されながらも、新たに大きな事案が2つ加わったことが相まって、過去2年間継続してきた調査研究の成果発表に集中的に取り組むことができた。目標について1点目として、新たに別立ての科学研究費助成事業（研究成果公開促進費）が採択されたこと、2点目に「令和4年度アイヌ工芸品展」（主催：公益財団法人アイヌ民族文化財団・石川県立歴史博物館・小樽市総合博物館）の展示チーフを担当することになったことがあげられる。結果からまとめると、その成果は予定通り、前者：拙著『近世海産物の生産と流通ー北方世界からみるコンブ・俵物貿易』（吉川弘文館、2022年12月）の刊行、後者：石川県立歴史博物館（2022年9～11月）および小樽市総合博物館（2022年12月～2023年3月）での展示会の実施のみならず、200頁にも及ぶ展示図録の刊行にまでこぎつけることができたことに結実する。具体的に本研究との関わりであるが、前者：江戸後期の小樽における海産物の生産に関する章において、本科研の調査研究対象でもある近江商人の西川伝右衛門家をとりあげており、後者：本研究の最大の調査研究対象であった右近権左衛門家資料の出展が叶ったうえ、図録でも紹介することができた。加えて図録では、江戸期の北海道の流通に関する論考および前述の西川家をテーマとした小樽のアイヌ民族の歴史に関する論考を収録した。さらに成果はこれらに留まらない。『湖国と文化』では、前述の西川家および同じく本科研の対象資料群である近江商人の岡田彌三右門家の文書から、近江商人と北海道小樽のテーマで論考を発表した。コンブやニシンなどの海産物の紹介を盛り込んだ『アイヌ文化史辞典』（共著）を刊行した。「北前船」など流通システムも十分にとりあげた小樽の歴史全般を扱う論考を含む『小樽学ー港町から地域を考える』（共著）を刊行することができた。
