小型哺乳類標本の収集地域および収集年代の分布特性を明らかにすることを目的に、以下の調査を進めている。北海道産の小型哺乳類を対象とし、冷凍遺体から博物館標本までを含めた「哺乳類標本」の収集傾向について、現地調査に基づいた地域共通の哺乳類標本データベースを作成することを第１段階とする（1.小型哺乳類標本を対象とした現地調査、および2.汎用性の高いデータベースの作成およびインターネットを利用した共有化）。その後、地理情報システム（GIS）を用いた解析を行い、検証を行うことを第２段階としている（3.本研究により得られたデータの時空間解析、および4.収集・登録・利活用の検証）。本研究により、博物館等による拾得遺体の収集の効率化、市民および博物館関係者による標本利用の活性化に貢献することが期待される。2022年度は新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染拡大の影響により現地調査の実施は少数にとどまったものの、ネズミ類・トガリネズミ類・コウモリ類の標本のデータの収集を行い、一定の成果を得ることができた。現地調査と並行し、「2.汎用性の高いデータベースの作成およびインターネットを利用した共有化」「3.本研究により得られたデータの時空間解析」に使用する日本産哺乳類のデータの整理を行ったほか、博物館学に関する文献調査を行った。また、引き続き既存データベースに関する研修および学会等への参加を通じ、ニーズの調査などの情報収集と技術面での情報収集を行った。

The distribution characteristics of small mammal populations in terms of geographical distribution and population age were investigated. Small Mammals from Hokkaido: A Survey of the Collection Tendency of "Mammalian Mammals," a Museum of Frozen Bodies, and a Local Survey of Mammalian Mammals Common to Regions: A Survey of Small Mammals, a Local Survey of Small Mammals, and a Museum of Frozen Bodies. 3. Geographic information system (GIS) is analyzed and verified in the 2nd stage of GIS application. This study is expected to contribute to the efficiency of the collection of collected remains and the activation of the use of human remains by the public and museum. In 2022, the impact of new types of HIV infection was significant, and the implementation of field research was carried out in a small number of cases. 2. The creation and utilization of universal data, 3. The temporal and spatial analysis of data obtained in this study, and the literature research on the use of Japanese mammalian data were conducted. The information collection of the research and technical aspects shall be conducted in accordance with the existing information collection system.
