项目摘要

本研究は、異なる世代が同居しお互いがメリットを創出し合う「異世代ホームシェア」に焦点を当てる。2021年度と2022年度は行政機関と連携し、実際に異世代ホームシェアを実施する当事者たちへフィールド調査を行った。しかし新型コロナウィルス流行下での調査となったため、感染対策に留意しながら遠隔会議ツール（Zoom）と現地調査を併用して行った。結果として、これまでに合計13世帯31名のインタビュー調査を実施している。これまでの調査で、異世代ホームシェアの実践者たちの多様な同居理由が明らかになった。経済的な理由から同居に至るケースや、留学生が異世代ホームシェアを利用しているケース、高齢者が自身の心身の衰えを不安視し同居するケースなど様々であった。また、調査を行った複数の世帯で認知症高齢者の介護を行いながら、学生を受け入れているケースが見られた。本年度は研究成果をまとめ、国内の学術誌で論文「日本の異世代ホームシェアの実態とそれぞれの世代に与える影響」が掲載され、国際学会では「The Impact of Intergenerational Home-sharing on the Lives of the Elderly in Japan」の演題名のもと発表を行った。さらに2022年7月23日に京都府京田辺市が開催した「フォーラム高齢者と若者がソリデールするまちへ」では講師を務め、地域市民に対し「異世代ホームシェアは高齢者と若者に何をもたらすのか？彩りのある暮らしへ」と題し、研究成果をもとに講演を行った。
