项目摘要

2022年度は2020－2021年度に続き、コロナ禍にあって、中国への渡航および当初予定していた長江、黄河流域における実地調査を断念せざるを得なかった。そこで本年度は、１）供物と行事食に関する民俗誌の記述方法についての基礎的研究に注力した。従来、中国における民俗誌的研究が歴史文献に偏重し、民俗事象のコンテクスト（いつ、どこで、何が行った、なぜ行ったか）に関する記述が不明確であると指摘されているが、2010年以来、年中行事と行事食に関する研究は、調査対象地でのフィールドワークに基づく民俗誌の記述が増えていることがわかった。中国における民俗誌研究の動向を追い、第10回中国語文献を読む会にて「中国における年中行事と行事食の民俗誌的研究の視点」を題した発表を行ったことは、今年度の成果である。2）長江流域の祭祀に重要視されるモチ米食品と黄河流域の祭祀によく用いられるコムギ食品の名称の由来に関する史料を収集し、江蘇省と山東省における清代から民国時代までの地方誌から祭祀関連の記録を抽出し、両地域の祖先祭祀に使用される供物の品目や用途等をデータ化した。今後、長江と黄河流域の祭祀と供物の地域間の比較を論文化していく。3）中国江南の祖先祭祀と供物に関しては、オンラインの聞き取り調査および調査対象である親族集団の家訓集等の史料の解読を通して、無錫市鵞湖華氏の春祭と秋祭がおおむね明代から受け継がれている家訓集『慮得集』に記している通りの供物を用い、年中行事の節目や季節の変わり目に行事食や旬の物を供えることや、牲が格上の供物とされ、猪口と箸の数により祭る先祖を示すことが明代に遡れると明確にした。種々の供物の文化的意味および祭礼の儀の変遷や親族集団「宗親会」が祖先祭祀の伝統の継承に担う役割について考察を行い、次年度に日本生活学会で発表し、学会誌に投稿する予定である。
