本研究の目的は、生活習慣病（NCDs）の予防対策が不十分なザンビア共和国において、モバイル端末を活用した介入プログラムを開発し、その体重・生活習慣変容・健康自己管理に対する有効性を検証することで、NCDs施策および人々の健康増進に資することである。具体的には、スマートフォンを活用した、体重を含めた身体測定および生活習慣を記録する介入プログラムを開発し、肥満者を対象に、非ランダム化3群並行比較デザインにより、「健康教育」、「健康教育＋体重測定」、「健康教育＋体重測定＋スマートフォン活用」の体重、生活習慣の改善、健康の自己管理、肥満に関する認識に関する効果を明らかにする。今年度は、現地の共同研究機関（Center For Primary Care Research、University of Zambia School of Public Health）を訪問し、オンラインおよび対面での研究計画、研究実施体制、運用やフィージビリティ等に関する検討および協議を行った。具体的には、現地にて、研究の協力施設（データ収集拠点：医療系大学を想定）の選定および協力依頼を行い、さらに現地ボランティア（様々な年代を考慮した23名）に対して介入プログラムで用いるスマートフォンアプリケーションやデバイスのユーザビリティの確認等を行った。現在、現地でのフィージビリティ確認および現地共同研究機関との協議で挙がった課題・懸念点を踏まえて研究計画の見直しを行っており、近々倫理委員会に提出予定である。

The purpose of this study is to develop effective prevention strategies for lifestyle diseases (NCDs) in China, explore the use of intervention strategies, and demonstrate the effectiveness of NCDs policies and human health improvement strategies for weight, lifestyle, and health management. Specific information, including body weight measurement and lifestyle recording, intervention, development, obesity, and non-discrimination, 3-group parallel comparison, health education, health education + body weight measurement, health education + body weight measurement + body weight utilization, improvement of body weight and lifestyle, health management, The results of the study were as follows: This year, the Center For Primary Care Research and the University of Zambia School of Public Health will conduct research projects, research implementation systems, and related research agreements. Specific research and development (research and development center: medical university), selection and cooperation, on-site research and development (research and development center: medical university), and identification of research and development projects. Now, we confirm the agreement between the local joint research organization and the research project. We will discuss the research plan directly and propose a proposal from the Ethics Committee.
