本年度は、有限期間の動的ゲームにおける、後ろ向き帰納法に焦点を当てた分析を行った。そのために、(1) 帰納的推論に基づく後向き帰納法の理論構築、(2)後向き帰納法を用いた交渉問題、(3)後向き帰納法を用いた高次推論について考察した。(1)については、ムカデゲームのパラドックスの解決を試みることで、新しい理論を構築した。後向き帰納法では(P1)完全なペイオフの比較可能性、(P2)過去忘却、(P3)数学的帰納法という3つの基礎的仮定に分類し、(P1)(P2)を弱め、認知能力の限界により利得が完全に比較できないことを許容し、慣性的行動という概念を導入することで、比較不可能な利得に直面した場合の慣性的な行動を描写した。これにより、主体の認知能力が低い場合に、ムカデゲームのパラドックスでいわれる、後向き帰納法によって導出される理論的行動指針の乖離が生じないことを示した。(2)については、交渉能力が異なる主体間のナッシュ交渉問題を、ベルトラン価格競争と同時的に扱うことで、交渉と競争の異なる二つの価格形成メカニズムの比較を統一モデルで分析した。そこでは、価格交渉能力の変化が、価格競争に影響することで、かならずしも交渉能力が高いことが企業の利潤を増やすことにつながらないことを示した。(3)については、資産市場取引実験による実験により検証を行った。資産取引実験では、取引終了期から後向き帰納法を用いた現在価格の予測を行うとされているが、本実験では被験者から将来の価格に関する長期的な信念を引き出し、それを公的情報として提示することで、信念情報の共通認識化を図った。結果、被験者の信念が、市場予測の中央値に向かって調整する強い傾向があることを示した。また、将来の時間軸全体に対する価格予測の中央値を共通認識とすることで、ミスプライシングが解消されることがわかった。

The result is that the market estimates the central value of the belief and the strong tendency to adjust. The central value of the future timeline is commonly known as the "time axis".
