15年度に引き続き、四月〜一月まで米国カルフォルニア大学バークレー校(University of California, Berkeley :以下UCB)経済学部にて、「経済主体の認識論的基礎」研究に従事した。意思決定主体の認識論的基礎付けのための理論的枠組みを構築するために、UCBのコンピューターサイエンス学部の講義及び研究集会に積極的に参加し、新しい枠組み構築の模索を行った。近年のコンピューターサイエンスにおいて、複数のエージェントが存在する環境下での人工知能及び意思決定理論の研究が萌芽している。特にUCBにはStuart Russell (Professor of UCB)をはじめとしてエージェントの知識に注目した人工知能の研究に精力を注いでいる。この環境で、経済主体が自分の直面している環境をどう認識するか、同一環境の異なる認識がなぜ起こるのか、主体の環境に対する認識が異なっている際に意思決定を行った時、どのような社会的定常状態が達成されるかの研究に従事した。このような研究の初期の成果が、"Minimal Revision in info-memory protocol"として発表されている。人々の認識的な側面を分析するために、主体が持つ私的情報がどのように交換されるのかと言う情報伝達の側面もまた分析しなければならない問題である。16年度は特に伝達するメッセージの形態(主体の認識の曖昧性・戦略的行動の操作性)に注目して研究に従事した。それらの結果は、"Note on communication-proof equilibrium in cheap-talk games," (with Eri Shrataki,発表及び投稿準備中)として纏められている。

In 2015, from April to January, the University of California, Berkeley (University of California, Berkeley : UCB below) conducted research on "Foundations of Knowledge Theory of the Economic Subject."
