项目摘要

2021年度と2022年度の研究会で各メンバーが研究報告を行なった他、各々は以下の研究活動を行なった。2021年度：代表者池田は、中東海域における英米エジプト関係を分析することで、海洋秩序維持が英米覇権が密接に関わることを調査した。分担者小川は、インド洋およびケープ・ルートにおけるイギリス・南アフリカ関係を中心に、第二次大戦後の海洋秩序の特徴と変容を分析した。分担者山口は、国際連合国際海洋法会議とインド洋非核地帯構想の研究を行い、英米覇権と国際海洋秩序の関係を分析した。分担者Hengは、日本がいかにイギリスと協力して海洋安全保障と地域秩序の維持に努めているか、調査した。これは、共同演習や近年注目されている戦略的コミュニケーションも含んでいる。分担者畠山は、21世紀の国際海洋秩序の揺らぎに関し、航行の自由をめぐる中国の対応と各国の反応を調査した。2022年度：代表者池田は、中東海域における英米エジプト関係を分析するために、イギリス公文書館を訪問し、資料調査を行なった。分担者小川は、インド洋およびケープ・ルートにおけるイギリス・南アフリカ関係を中心に、第二次大戦後の海洋秩序の特徴と変容を分析した。分担者山口は、国際連合国際海洋法会議とインド洋非核地帯構想の研究を遂行するため、ニュージーランド国立公文書館、イギリス国立公文書館にて資料調査を行った。分担者Hengは、ペルシャ湾岸での海洋安全保障と地域秩序の維持に関する日英協力について、イギリス外務省の外交官にインタビューを行なった。分担者畠山は、前述の自身のテーマについてキャンベラなどでインタビュー調査を行なった。分担者菅原は、1900年から1920年までのイギリス外交に関する先行研究を調べるとともに、イギリスの大英図書館でBalfour Papersなどの私文書の収集および分析を行った。

In recent years, joint exercises have been held in the United States. The contribution of China to the international maritime order in the 21st century is related to the freedom of navigation.
