「Step1 技術開発と普遍化」として、2021年度に行なった、ガイド付きまち歩きと主観的健康感に関するウェブアンケートについて、開発した手法に基づき引き続き分析を進めた。分析成果からは、「主観的健康感と環境認知量との関連」として、居住地周辺の主観的認知度が高いこと、憩える/思い出の/案内したい/家族と出かける/交流する場所を認知していることは、主観的健康感が良いことと関連していることを解明した。さらに、分析結果をふまえて、健康格差是正のための都市計画・まちづくりのあり方について検討した。また、ガイド付きまち歩きの設計を進めた。対象地は東京都心部の郊外に位置しながらも、豊かな場所の文脈情報を有する歴史的市街地である越谷市旧日光街道越ヶ谷宿エリアを選定した。対象地で2021年度に行ったまちづくりオーラル・ヒストリー調査の成果内容、歴史ガイドボランティアの案内内容、地域史に関する資料から情報を収集、編纂することで、まち歩きルート、ガイドスポット、ガイド内容を設定し、ガイド付きまち歩きを計画した。加えて、先行研究を元に、ガイド付きまち歩きにおける主観的健康感の変化について、心理反応と生理反応から計測する手法を検討した。これらをふまえ、「Step2 社会実装と検証」として、20代男女14名を対象に研究仮説の実証可能性を検討するための予備実験を2023年11月18日と22日に実施した。予備実験では、両日とも参加者を２チームに分け、越谷市旧日光街道越ヶ谷宿エリアで、ガイド付きまち歩きとガイド無し（ガイドが付かない）まち歩きを体験してもらい、まち歩き前後の主観的健康感の変化を計測した。実験で得られたガイド付きまち歩きとガイド無しまち歩きの主観的健康感の変化を比較した結果からは、ガイド付きまち歩きの方が主観的健康感を向上させることが示唆された。
