今年度は、後方視的研究のデータ解析と結果の公表、系統的レビューのスクリーニングとデータ抽出、海外調査の実施、前方視的研究の計画立案と開始を予定していた。Webアンケートでは、5551人の分析対象者を育休取得群と非取得群に分けて比較をおこなった。その結果、平日の家事育児時間の産前・産後の差分では、育休取得群の方が5.8分/日、長くなり、休日では17.6分/日長くなることが示された。また、育休取得群の方が、挙児希望ありが1.5倍になる一方で、労働生産性やメンタルヘルス、仕事への忠誠心などは変わらないことが示された。育休取得群は、不要なミーティングを減らしたり、仕事の効率を意識するようになるなど、家事・育児の時間を捻出しようと試みる傾向が示された。系統的レビューについては、男性の育休取得の効果・影響を検証するために、PRISMAガイドラインに従いシステマティックレビューを進めている。収集した文献に関して2名が独立してタイトル・アブストラクトによる一次スクリーニングを行い、114件が特定された。一次スクリーニングで抽出された候補文献に関して、フルテキスト・スクリーニングを行い、文献の選択を進めている。男性育休の効果・影響としては、仕事や育児・家事時間、挙児希望、賃金上昇率、ジェンダー平等、夫婦関係、父子関係、死亡率、母乳育児、メンタルヘルス（父・母・子ども）、その他（子どもの事故、身体活動、離婚）など多様なアウトカムが確認されている。海外調査として、カナダ、オーストラリア、アメリカ、イギリス、スウェーデンの５か国について父親役割やロールモデルの概念に関する情報収集をおこなった。情報源は所管省庁のHPなどの公的な情報や教育カリキュラムにおける教育・記載内容とし、各国の状況や特色をまとめた。
