本研究は、近年注目される東南アジアにおけるイスラームの義務の喜捨（ザカートと呼ばれる）の合理化/制度化に関して、その制度化のアプローチが対照的なインドネシアとマレーシアを取り上げ、地域研究の視座から明らかにするものである。両者の比較を通じて、現代的要請に対応したザカート制度化の具体的実態とその特徴および、差異化した過程をめぐる。研究プロジェクト4年目である今年度は、昨年度に引き続き世界的なCovid-19感染拡大のため、本研究課題遂行に重要なフィールドワークを実施することができなかったものの、以下の点について研究を推進した。(1)研究成果発表および研究ネットワーク構築：研究成果の発表として、国内の学会発表１回、書籍の分担執筆１章、英語論文１本、アウトリーチ活動として招待講演１回を行った。中東学会での発表及び、日本語での書籍の分担執筆でも、ザカートの制度化とオンライン化について執筆・公開できたのは大きな成果であった。今年度は、オンラインで２件、インドネシア国内での発表の機会を得た。フィールド調査はできなかったものの、現地の当事者たち（ザカート管理団体関係者や、イスラーム経済の学生）に向けて発表をしたことにより、様々なフィードバックを得ることができた。ボゴール大学でのイスラーム経済冬期講習では、第一線で活躍するイスラーム経済学者たちとのネットワーク構築もすることができたのは、大きな成果であった。(2)ザカートに関するtwitterデータの入手：共同研究でtwitter分析のデータを手に入れることができた。これをもとに制度化について分析、検証中である。近いうちに、結果を発表できるように研究推進中である。

This study focuses on the rationalization/institutionalization of the obligation of the Southeast Asian countries in recent years, and on the selection of the system for the purpose of regional research. The comparison between the two sides is common, and the modern needs are related to the specific situation, characteristics, and differentiation process of the system. The study was carried out in the fourth year of this year, and the Covid-19 infection in the world was introduced in the last year. Therefore, it is important to carry out this research project. The following research points are carried out. (1)Research achievements development and research organization: development of research achievements, 1 chapter of domestic society development, 1 chapter of book sharing, 1 chapter of English paper, 1 chapter of activity and 1 chapter of reception speech The Middle East Society's development and sharing of books in Japanese, the institutionalization of books, the publication of books, and the achievement of books.
