東京都内の農業経営者に対するアンケート調査の分析から，生産緑地貸借の契約条件は，貸し手に有利な短期間の使用貸借が多いことが確認された。また，借り手は営農条件に対する要望が強く，貸し手は地域との調和に対する要望が強かった。さらに，地域社会に貢献する取組みを実施する農業経営のレジリエンスの高さが示された。環境面の評価として，東京都内の農業者４名へのヒアリングをもとに炭素量を推定した結果，施設栽培中心でも，周囲の住宅地と比較して約３分の１程度の排出に留まっていた。東京都町田市の市街化区域内農地の転用・残存の実態についてGISデータを用いて分析を行った。さらに，農地貸借についてNash解を用いて分析した結果，交渉は非合意点の利得が高い方が有利であり，耕作者，地主共に他に農地を貸借できる相手の有無が，地代水準に関係することが示された。耕作者にとって特定の地主以外に貸し手がいない場合に地代水準が高額となる一方，安い地代の貸し手がおり，地主にとって他の借り手がいない時，地代水準は0円（使用貸借）となる。双方に貸借相手がいる場合，従前条件では貸借が成立するが，より好条件で貸借できる相手がいる場合は貸借が成立しない。よって，均一な地代水準の推奨による貸借の促進が示唆された。コミュニティガーデンにおけるCovid-19への対応について，東京都日野市のせせらぎ農園を対象として，参加記録や参加者へのインタビューを用いた混合研究法により明らかにした。外出自粛の制約の中でも，話し合いにより感染防止策を検討しルールを決め，活動を継続し，参加者は精神的な安定を得られていた。また，東京都内の先駆事例である世田谷区喜多見４・５丁目農の風景育成地区について，同区みどり政策課へのヒアリングを実施した。約10年前の指定申請から現在までの活動内容，管理・運営に関わる民間組織の特徴と変遷，活動成果を把握した。
