滋賀県の集落営農法人を対象とした事例分析より，財務を安定させつつ労賃を増やして人的資源確保を達成するためには，若手世代への作業配分が重要であること，地域内の関係構築は，人的資源の確保につながる有効なSHMであることが示された。2020年度に実施したアンケート調査結果の分析より，若手専従者の確保は総合的な持続性を高める有効なSHMであり，多様なSHの組織参加と多角化の進展が関連していることが示された。さらに，湖東地域分を中心に集計・分析を行い，法人の持続可能性および構成員意識と法人に対する評価に着目して検討した。コミュニティ・ビジネスにおけるSHの役割と関係について分析した結果，中心となる農業経営が各SHとの互恵関係を基礎に，通年での雇用システムを構築するなど地域振興に徹していること，地域外SHとのネットワーク構築が経営資源の獲得や新たなSH獲得の契機となっていること，農村リーダーが各SHのハブとなってネットワーク構築していることが示された。人的資源管理面について，雇用型経営では圃場別作業時間や従業員別所要時間を把握したい経営者が増えており，これらの記録を用いて，作業計画策定や圃場別生産原価および適正作業人員の把握意向があることが示された。滋賀県内90集落の販売農家900戸を対象に，生態系保全における成果連動型支払（PFS）に対する選好を選択型実験により尋ねた。その結果，回答農家は全体としてPFSによる支払に対して肯定的であること，支払単価，達成基準（圃場で確認される水鳥の種数），成果の確認方法が重要であることが示された。また石川県羽咋市では，現地JAと共同で農家の全戸調査を行い，詳細なPFSによる選択型実験をおこなった。その結果，成果指標として水田の一般的な種（サギ類，アカネ類）が選好されること，PFSに参加する農家は比較的軽度な保全型農業を選択する傾向が示された。
