项目摘要

昨年度に続き「ある経済主体がバイアスを持つ時に、周囲の経済主体がそのバイアスに気づいているか否かが均衡にどう影響を与えるか」という問題に取り組み、従来の研究では知られていなかった全く新しい現象が起こる例を発見した。この例においては、まず経済主体の持つバイアスが周囲の人々に知られている場合、バイアスの程度が変化するに応じて均衡も連続的に変化する。簡単に言うと、ある経済主体のバイアスの量(例えば自信過剰の程度)が少しだけ変化すると、均衡結果も少しだけ変化する。一方、周囲の人々がバイアスに気づいていない場合、均衡は非連続に変化する。具体的には、ある経済主体がほんの微小なバイアスを持つだけで、バイアスのないケースとは均衡結果が大きく変わってしまう。上記の結果は、「ある経済主体のバイアスが周囲の人々に知られているかどうかが、均衡分析において決定的に大きな影響を与える」ということと「ある経済主体が微小なバイアスを持つだけで、均衡行動が大きく変わりうる」ということを示したという点で、非常に新規性がある結果であるといえる。(実際、同分野の海外研究者数名にこの結果を伝えたところ、非常に好評であった。) 現在はこの結果を論文にまとめているところである。
