项目摘要

新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響により、当初予定していた海外渡航の機会を得ることは出来なかった。また、国内においても移動等の制限から所属機関が所蔵する資料以外のアクセスが難しく、結果として研究計画通りの成果を上げることが出来なかったと自己評価する。しかし、採用期間中の研究活動を通じて、ホラーティウスのギリシア抒情詩の受容を主な研究対象とする本研究においても一定の進展があり、具体的には以下二点のことが挙げられる。１）昨年度末に発刊された、葛西康徳、ヴァネッサ・カッツァート（編）『古典の挑戦』知泉書館、2021で、初期ラテン文学におけるギリシア文学の翻訳に関する章（第11章：ドメニコ・ジョルダーニ「ギリシアを翻訳するーバルバロイの文化への翻訳」pp. 285-309）の翻訳を担当したが、その作業課程で所謂「翻訳研究」に関連してギリシア・ローマ文学を考察する研究書、論文の調査を行う必要が生じた。本年度も継続して、当該関連領域の専門書の調査を行い、自身の研究にも応用し得る点を模索した。2）1）を通じて得られた知見を機会詩に注目する本研究に応用する試みとして、古代ローマの葬送歌であるneniaに関する論文を所属研究室の紀要に提出した。当該論文では、ホラーティウスがneniaをギリシア抒情詩の葬送歌の伝統に等置している箇所を検討し、その翻訳の意義を考察した。上記二点は今後予定している博士論文執筆においても重要な足掛かりになり得ると考えている。
