前年度Journal of Policy History 誌に投稿した論文につき、再度の査読・修正を経て、無事採択されることとなった。"The Unlikely Heroes of Progressive Taxation: CEOs' Support for Bill Clinton's Tax Increase in 1993"として2023年に出版される予定である。史料を用いなくても出来る研究として、本研究の対象とする時代からは外れるが、近年のオバマケアをめぐる共和党支持者の動向を検討した「共和党州政府下のメディケイド拡大－アイダホ州の事例を中心に」を『地方財政』から出版した。史料について、公文書館が2021年4月より有償での電子コピーの配布を開始し始めた。これを利用して史料の取り寄せを行ったが費用が高額であったこともあり、有益な史料を得ることはできなかった。現地での史料収集がやはり必要との判断から、2021年9月から2022年1月の間、アメリカに滞在し、公文書館が研究者に開放されるのを待った。11月にアポイントメント付きで調査室は開放されるようになったが、アポイントメントを取った後、再度訪問する前に調査室が再度閉鎖されてしまったため、史料の収集は見送らざるを得なかった。
