2021年度は2020年度に引き続き、植民地朝鮮における農業教育史に関する研究を進行した。2021年度は2020年度に引き続き大韓民国での現地調査を予定していたが、渡航制限が十分に緩和されず、本年度も日本国内での資料調査・分析を中心に研究を進行した。具体的には、2020年度中に査読修正を行って2021年度に公表した研究と、2021年3月に朝鮮史研究会関西部会で報告した内容を合わせて、以前より参加していた明治学院大学の「近代日本の日記文化と自己表象」研究会（2021年5月）で、２冊の日記の比較分析を行った。また公州農業学校の日記分析を進めるうちに、植民地朝鮮における農業学校それ自体の基礎的な研究を深める必要性があると考えるようになり、統計や新聞史料を整理して、2021年11月に日本植民地研究会にて農業学校の5年制学年延長運動を中心とした報告を行い、年末に同学会誌へ投稿した。またそうした作業と並行して、いくつかの関連する研究分野にも貢献した。まず『日本史研究』717号（2022年5月刊）において、竹国友康『日本に渡った朝鮮牛の近代史』（有志舎）の新刊紹介を行った。続いて2022年6月刊『史学雑誌』の「回顧と展望」において、「朝鮮近現代史」の項目を担当した。最後に、前年度から引き続き行っていた所属研究室の科研費プロジェクトに参加し、足立芳宏編『農業開発の現代史』（京都大学出版会）https://www.kyoto-up.or.jp/books/9784814004294.htmlの第４章の翻訳作業を、出版に向けてさらに推し進めた。
