令和４年度は、主に廬山慧遠集団と謝霊運の詩文の関係性について考察を進めた。５月には「山水と「一悟」のあいだ―慧遠らによる「遊廬山」「遊石門」詩と謝霊運の山水詩」と題する研究報告を行い、衆生が「感」じて仏が「応」じるという「感応」の表現に特に焦点を当てて分析を行った。慧遠の弟子の作と推測される「遊石門詩并序」は、その序文において遊行の時節・目的・同行者・行程・天候を具体的に叙述し、さらにその一回の遊行において超越者の“応現”をどのように知覚認識し、自身の心境がどう変化したか、その体験の後いかなる考察を経てどのような悟りに至ったのかを詳細に叙述している。この叙述の流れを謝霊運「従斤竹澗越嶺渓行」詩の展開と対照させてみると、「激しい身体動作」―「動作中に捉えた景物」―「前触れ」―「応現」―「その後の心境」―「応現の作用に対する考察」―「（言葉で）説明する難しさ」―「真の悟りへ」という流れが共通していることが確かめられた。「遊石門詩」の序には、山水の景と自身の心との相互作用を描こうとする意識が確かに認められ、このような慧遠集団の山水詠が謝霊運の山水詩制作に直接的な影響を与えた可能性があることを学会発表し、さらに論文にまとめた。また７月には「独遊する山水―廬山慧遠と謝靈運の詩をめぐって」と題する研究発表を行った。慧遠「遊廬山詩」と謝霊運「於南山往北山経湖中瞻眺」詩がいずれも“独り”での山水遊行を強調していることを指摘し、慧遠が描く「独冥遊」―「感応」―「理」の悟得という過程は、謝霊運が描く「孤遊」―「賞」―「理」の悟得という流れと極めて近いことを論じた。さらに謝詩の「賞」「賞心」「心賞」の解釈について、先行研究の見解を整理しながら私見を述べた。
