项目摘要

本年度は、南朝宋の詩人である謝霊運と鮑照の詩を比較分析した。まず謝霊運と鮑照に共に「石室」を描いた山水詩がある点に注目した。この「石室」とは道士や仙人が住む深山の洞窟のことで、当時は仙界や洞天に通じる神秘の空間と見なされていた。その石室を訪れた体験を詠む詩は、宗教体験を描くことを主な目的とする当時の山水詩の一つの典型を示すと考えられる。そこで当時の詩文に表れた石室のイメージを確認しながら、両者の石室詩の違いを考察した。謝霊運「石室山」詩は、その神聖さ、清らかな趣を強調し、幼少より神仙の有様を思い続けてきた彼だけが感得できる特異な宗教感覚、神秘体験を描く。そこに表された感覚世界は、「賞」の語を使って山水との深い交感を表現した「登江中孤嶼」詩の世界とも通じ合う。一方鮑照「従〓中郎遊園山石室」詩は、石室内部の暗く妖しい雰囲気、その絶対の静けさと闇を描き、人間としての根源的、普遍的な恐怖の感覚を表現する。この研究成果を論文「「石室」の詩をめぐって-謝霊運・鮑照山水詩の比較-」にまとめた。次に、より広く山水詩、遊覧詩を対象とした両者の文学比較を行った。先行研究では鮑照山水詩の特徴を考察する際、行旅詩も分析対象とすることが多い。謝霊運の場合は、遊覧詩、行旅詩等と分けずに共に「山水詩」として分析することが可能であり有効である。しかし一般に行旅詩のスタイルは、『文選』に「遊覧」「行旅」の部が立てられていることからも明らかなように、自発的な行為による遊覧詩とは大きく異なる。同じ景物でも行旅詩と遊覧詩では描き方が変わってくる。鮑詩の場合、謝詩のような山水遊覧の詩は少なく、『文選』巻二二遊覧の部に収められる一首も、城内を観覧しその感慨を述べたもので、所謂「山水詩」ではない。より多く山水が登場するのは行旅詩の方である。これらの特徴は鮑照詩の本質に深く関わる問題であり、現在論文にまとめている。
