『雅言集覧』を核とした近世国語辞書群の和文用例が近現代辞書に及ぼした影響の研究

项目摘要

江戸時代に編纂された古語辞書『雅言集覧』は、編者・石川雅望の『源氏物語』研究を核として成立しているが、その他の典拠も含めた古典用例の扱いについては依然として未解明の点が多い。今年度は、これまでの研究で、主たる典拠である『源氏物語』『枕草子』『栄花物語』について解明を進めたが、さらに『うつほ物語』の扱いに注目し、その用例が辞書の中でどのような役割を果たしているのかについて調査を進めた。まず、江戸時代前期において『うつほ物語』を重視した契沖の流れをふまえつつ、石川雅望が『うつほ物語』に対する造詣を深めていく様子をその著作から探った。さらに、石川雅望の古典研究の集大成である『雅言集覧』においても『うつほ物語』を積極的に活用するに至った様子を追った。その結果、石川雅望は、『うつほ物語』に見られる錯簡の問題や『源氏物語』に比べると完成度に欠ける『うつほ物語』の文学的評価には立ち入らず、『雅言集覧』においてはあくまで『源氏物語』に先行する古典語資料として利用していることが分かった。また、『雅言集覧』の用例をコーパスや現行辞書と比較することで、『源氏物語』やそれ以降の作品からは得られない文型やコロケーションを的確に『うつほ物語』から抜き出していることも分かった。この成果は第126回訓点語学会研究発表会で発表するとともに、現在細かい調査を加えて論文化を進めている。また、この成果もふまえながら、『雅言集覧』の用例が明治以降の辞書に与えた影響を探る調査を進めている。特に、前年度までは戦後の古語辞書の検討が中心であったため、近代の古語辞書『国書辞典』を精査し、その特徴を論じるとともに、立項の仕方や用例選定、そして用例の切り取り方に対して『雅言集覧』の用例が大きな影響を及ぼしていることを具体的に示した。この成果は「『国書辞典』と『雅言集覧』」（『立教大学日本語研究』29号）に投稿している。
