项目摘要

2022年度は、前年度に引き続き、動学的な状況で異質で個人間比較不可能な効用の集計を考え、パレート原理と公平性と時間整合性を満たす社会厚生基準を研究した。この研究において、等しい選好を持つ人々の間で過去に不平等がない場合において、現在以降の消費の不平等を減らすことを要請する公理と、時間を通じて整合的な分配評価を行うことを要請する時間整合性条件と、各個人の人生効用の状態が改善する事が社会的に望ましいという判断を要請するパレート原理と、時間を通じて一定な消費水準を個人間で入れ替えても社会状態の評価は同じであることを要請するスッピス無差別原理を考え、これらの公理を用いて、一種のレキシミン社会厚生関数を特徴づけた。この社会厚生関数は、人々の生活状態を比較する基準として、過去から将来に至る人生の消費流列と等しく好ましい定常消費水準を「等価消費水準」としている。レキシミンとは、二つの分配を比較する際に、まず一番小さな等価消費を用いて比較し、最小等価消費が等しい場合には二番目に小さい等価消費水準を比較する、ということを繰り返して比べる方法である。また、選好の変化に関する独立性の条件を用いたが、これらの研究成果は、前年度からのマキシミン社会厚生関数の研究と合わせて、論文"Time-consistent fair social choice"として、理論経済学の国際的査読誌であるTheoretical Economicsに投稿し、改訂を経て採択された。また、人々の選好が準双曲割引を持ったり、将来の消費が不確実な場合での平等分配等価基準も導出した。
