项目摘要

本研究の目的は、マッチング理論の新規の応用の開拓に役立てるために、マッチング理論を価格理論の見地から再検討することである。マッチング理論と価格理論とを統一する理論を構築できれば最善であるが、これは遠大すぎるので、部分的な統一を目指し以下の課題の解決を目指す: (a)価格概念を拡張することで、価格を使わないマッチングメカニズムを価格理論と同一の枠組みに帰着させる。 (b)価格理論における競争均衡とコアとの関係(エッジワース命題)に対応する関係をマッチング理論において確立する。 (c)価格理論における社会選択理論的解釈(ワルラス的社会選択)に対応する解釈をマッチング理論において確立する。令和4年度にはいく分か研究をすすめることができた。過去2年度は上記課題の(a)に取り組んだが十分な成果を出しあぐねたため、当該年度には研究計画を俯瞰的に再検討し、また同分野の他研究者と情報交換・議論を行った。その結果、(c)がある程度結果が出しやすいものと見定め、これに取り組んだ。対象とするモデルについても、これまでは両側選好の2部マッチングモデルを考えていたが、2部構造を必ずしも持たない一般的な離散的配分モデルへと視点を移した。そのうえで、アロー流の社会選択という古典的な問題を分析した。当該モデルにおいてはこれまでこの種類の分析はあまり行われておらず、基本的なことがわかっていなかったため、有意義な分析ができた。中間的な結果を論文にまとめて、研究代表者の所属機関の紀要に発表した。
