当初の研究計画では、初年度は、オランダ東インド会社（VOC）の本国側における資料の収集、東京大学史料編纂所における平戸および出島長崎商館資料（の調査、そして、オランダや長崎での現地調査を実施することとしていたが、コロナ禍のため当初計画の変更を行うこととなり、既存の資料を使用して当該研究テーマの基礎的研究を行うこととした。具体的には、『平戸市史海外史料編』に所収の平戸商館の帳簿をもとに、当該テーマの論点整理を行った上で、２年目に予定していた長崎支店における、商館員に認められていた私貿易と江戸参府や進物費などの関係について会計帳簿を基に計数的に検討を行い、その成果を学術雑誌に発表した。２年目の当初計画は、国内外での会計資料の発掘・収集を行ってデータベースを完成させ、中間成果報告用のホームページの作成を開始することとしていた。しかしながら、昨年度もコロナ禍のためこの計画を変更せざるを得ず、１年目に前倒しした長崎支店の会計史的研究の成果を深化させる目的で、近年オンラインで一部がダウンロード可能となったオランダ・ハーグにあるNationaal Archief（国立公文書館）所蔵の「平戸・長崎出島商館資料」を基にして、これまであまり重視されてこなかった長崎支店における商館給与簿をはじめとする補助簿の研究を行い、その成果を学術雑誌において発表した。３年目に当たる本年度の当初計画では、これまでの分析結果を基に、協力関係にある海外の研究者とディスカッションや論文の作成を通じて、客観性、信頼性、そして国際感覚のある研究成果にすることとしていたが、前年度に引き続きコロナ禍が収束せず、オンラインで入手可能な資料や文献資料をもとに研究を行い、その成果の一部を学術雑誌において発表した。

The original research plan includes the collection of data from VOC's home side, the collection of data from Tokyo University Historical Materials Compilation Institute, and the collection of data from Dejima Nagasaki Commercial Museum. Existing data are used when the research is conducted on the basis of the data. Specifically,"Hirado City History Overseas Historical Materials Compilation" includes the books of the Hirado Commercial Office, the discussion of the issues when the topic is sorted out, the two-year project is scheduled to be held in Nagasaki Branch, the commercial librarian recognizes the relationship between private trade and the government's import expenses, the accounting books are counted, and the results are reported in academic journals. The initial plan for 2002 is to complete the development and collection of accounting data at home and abroad, and to start the preparation of the interim report. In the past year, the results of the study on the accounting history of Nagasaki branch stores have been deepened. In recent years, there has been a part of the study on the possibility of changing the accounting history of Nagasaki branch stores. The Nationaal Archives (National Public Library) has published the "Data of Nagasaki Dejima Commercial Building". The Nagasaki Branch Office of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry will provide grants for research and academic achievements. The original plan of the current year is based on the analysis results of overseas researchers and the preparation of papers. The research results of the previous year are based on the information of overseas researchers and the research results of overseas researchers. A part of the results of the study was published.
