今年度はカネミ油症に関しては、昨年度から引き続き厚労省カネミ油症健康実態調査の分析考察を実施した。最新のデータを取り込みつつ、９年間の健康実態調査から油症の認定患者像を考察した。また厚労省は次世代調査も実施したため、それらに関する資料等の収集も実施した。今回は身体的な症状に着目しつつ、社会的、精神面に焦点をあて経年で見た。当事者の７割以上が長年にわたってストレスを抱えていることがわかった。ストレス源は「自分の病気や介護」が常に高く、２番目に選択されているのは2019年以降、収入という経済的な心配事より「家族の病気や介護」であった。高齢化社会を迎え老老介護の問題は存在し続けている。しかし油症患者の場合、食を経由しているため当然家族が患者の可能性もあり、油症患者が高齢化した場合、どのような状態になるのかは、当事者が食べた時期によっても未知の部分があろう。そこは通常の加齢による介護を含む高齢化の問題とは異なる側面を持つことも推測できる。多少の変化があった項目は受療領券を利用せずに受診する人々が減少していたことであった。使用することで患者とわかってしまうデメリットはあるが、使用できる医療機関が増えたことも、その減少の要因と考えられる。他方、台湾油症においては、事件発生当初の新聞記事等の収集および読み込み、支援者運動である台湾油症受害者支持協会（以下、協会）の動きを調べた。協会の事務局が、借りていたところとの契約がきれ、2022年現在、事務所を持たない団体となっていることが確認された。その他台湾油症に対する救済政策構築のための法学的アプローチの論文（中文）と環境医学的アプローチの論文（英文）を入手し、その読み込みも実施した。同時に日台油症の比較研究の論文等の収集並びに読み込み、九大油症研究班による多数の調査研究論文の中から健康実態調査に関する被害にかかわる論文等の収集も実施した。
