项目摘要

本研究は、20世紀半ばドイツ語圏における古楽運動との比較を通して、第二次対戦後の日本において「古楽」を特徴づけてきた様態の整理を行うものである。次の3段階に沿って進めた。1. 日本人の古楽の演奏家の活動や産業の実情を解明するためのフィールド調査と言説・演奏分析、2. ドイツ語圏の古楽運動発展期における実践状況を解明するための資料調査と言説・演奏分析、3. 日本における古楽受容の起点および発展・推移期の考察である。本課題では、演奏分析（日独共に）と日本における古楽受容の起点・発展・推移期の考察を中心に据えた。具体的には、前者に関しては、1970年から2000年までのバッハ演奏の事例に絞って、国内外の楽器博物館で収集した古楽器の使用状況に関する資料を比較参照し、分析を行った。その成果について美学会大会で口頭発表を行った。加えて、1960年代以降に本格化した古楽実践と関連付けて議論されるようになった演奏理念について、R. タラスキンのオーセンティシティー批判の論考（1982-1994）を分析することにより検討し、論文にまとめ、大学紀要で発表した。後者に関しては、前課題で行った日本の古楽の演奏家と産業の実態・実情をめぐる言説分析を整理検討した。結果、1960年代までは古楽に対する忌避感が強く、1970年代に古楽的奏法や古楽器への関心が高まり、1980年代には積極的な受容を促してきたという特徴を導き出した。その成果について美学会大会で口頭発表を行った。さらに、1980年代に進展を遂げた受容の端緒が20世紀初めの洋楽器産業に関係したと考えられる点について、イギリスで開催された国際シンポジウムで口頭発表を行った。成果の総括として、日本の古楽受容の特徴とその歴史的意義について博士予備論文にまとめ（一部を英語論文に翻訳中）、所属大学に受理された。

This study compares the ancient music movement in the German language circle of the 20th century and the characteristics of the ancient music movement in Japan after the second century.
