项目摘要

ハイデガーの哲学を参照しながら「語り」ないし「他者理解」の問題に取り組む本研究は、今年度、次のような成果を得た。第一に、主著『存在と時間』を中心とするいわゆる前期のハイデガーにおいて「語り」という概念がどのような意義をもっているか、ということを明らかにした。「語り（Rede）」とは『存在と時間』において、「言語（Sprache）」に先立つ、より根源的な働きとして論じられるものである。私たちの存在は、実際に言語を操っているか否かにかかわらず「語り」の働きを伴っている。この働きがハイデガーの議論のなかでどのような位置を占めているか、また「言語」そのものといかなる関係にあるかということを、先行研究を踏まえながら論じた。第二に、和辻哲郎の「表現」概念の意義を究明した。和辻はハイデガーの影響を受けつつも、批判的な距離をとって共同体の成立を論じている。そこで「表現」概念が重要な役割を果たしていることは先行研究が指摘してきた。本研究ではその「表現」概念について、上記の「語り」の働きに基づき再把握を試みた。また具体的な「表現」として文学作品を取り上げたときどのような含意が展開されうるかということを検討した。第三に、石牟礼道子の文学作品における「言葉」の位置づけについて論じた。これは和辻についての研究と一部重なる。哲学の議論のなかで具体的な文学作品を取り上げるのは、共同体の成立といった問題を現実に即して考えるためでもあり、また上で述べたような議論を現実に「試す」ためでもある。以上の成果は既に発表したものと、これから発表するものとを含む。「他者理解」の媒体たる広い意味での「語り」の現象に着目する本研究は、「他者理解」という問題を、単に私が他者に対しておこなう認知的作用としてではなく、むしろ私と他者とが「共にある」とはどういうことか、という根本的な点から捉え直す視座を提供すると言える。
