项目摘要

本年度は、これまで新型コロナウイルスの影響で滞っていた資料調査を再開できた。具体的には、報告者は９月からドイツに長期滞在をしており、ベルリンにあるドイツ・キネマテークのアーカイヴでストローブ=ユイレに関する文字資料と映像資料の調査を行なった。文字資料に関しては、日本では入手できない批評等、特に初期作品『和解せず』（1965年）公開当時の多くの言説を精査した。また、映像資料に関しては、舞台から先に製作された『アンティゴネー』（1991年）の舞台版映像を視聴、検討できた。残念ながら、本年度中にこれらの資料をもとにした学術研究を公開することはできなかったが、来年度に論文のかたちで発表することを計画している（とくに、前者に関しては、すでに前年度に学会発表を行なっているので論文化の目処がたっている）。これらの調査に加えて、前年度に不十分であったストローブ=ユイレの発話演出に関する論文を練り直して、日本映像学会機関紙『映像学』に投稿した。そこでは『階級関係』（1983年）という具体的テクストにおいて発話がどのように演出されているのかを、リハーサル映像や脚本などの一次資料をもとに考察した。また、本研究の重要な課題でもある映像と声の関係性について、映画音響研究の第一人者であるリック・アルトマンの論文「ムービング・リップス腹話術としての映画（Moving Lips：Cinema as Ventriloquism）」を翻訳し、表象文化論学会発行の『表象16』に訳者改題もあわせて発表した。
