本研究は、先行する申請課題「「現在の平面」―西田幾多郎における時間論と存在論」(基盤 C、平成 25－27 年)および「「ファンタスマタの世界」－西田幾多郎における美学と時間論」（基盤C、平成28－30年）において得られた研究成果を継承し、発展させるものである。これまでに申請者は、西田幾多郎の各時代の著作において、「時間」がどのように捉えられているかを、イタリア語に全訳しながら分析してきた。その過程において、西田が前期から後期へと独自の哲学を発展させながら、プラトン主義的な「永遠」から、それとは異なる「現在の平面」のような「永遠の今」の非形而上学的な時間論へ進んでいったということが分かってきた。また、西田の時間論の中は、彼の美学・芸術論が密接につながっていることが明らかとなった。そのため、本研究においては、西田の全著作において、「時間」の概念、特に「永遠」の概念がどのように記述されているかについて抜き出し、各時期の記述を西田の思想展開の中で跡づけることを試みた。具体的には、プラトン主義のキリスト教的な永遠の意味からの変化について、ストア学派、ドゥルーズ、禅仏教を参考に考察を行なった。今年度は、昨年度出版した論文「西田幾多郎の思想における「永遠」概念の変遷をめぐる一試論」における論考を深めるとともに、ヨーロッパからの招待講演、セミナーを多く行い、日本哲学に関する海外での議論を促進することに尽力した。これらの活動に平行して、西田の著作のイタリア語訳を引き続き行なった。西田全集イタリア語版の第6巻となる『働くものから見るものへ』の翻訳が終了し、出版を待つ段階である。国際共同研究を促進するために、インターカルチャー哲学の国際研究グループ「Mushin'en」を南山宗教文化研究所とのオンラインによる共同研究も行なった。

This research has been based on the research results obtained from the previously applied topics "The Plane of the Present"-Time Theory and Ontology in the Nishida Kitaro "(Baseline C, Heisei 25-27) and" The World of the Buddha "-Aesthetics and Time Theory in the Nishida Kitaro"(Baseline C, Heisei 28-30). The works of the applicant and Nishida Kitaro of each era are analyzed in detail. In the process, Nishida's philosophy develops from the early stage to the late stage.
