项目摘要

本年度は、鄭玄説と『偽古文尚書』の関係を明らかにするため、鄭玄説の特徴とその影響を、歴史観を中心に考察し、以下の研究成果を発表した。漢代から三国時代には、上古史について多様な歴史観が並存していた。その一つは『史記』の歴史観であり、五帝をすべて黄帝の子孫とするもので、『世本』や『大戴礼記』帝ケイ篇も同様の歴史観を共有していた。この歴史観は、漢代の古文学派によって継承され、その間、前漢末の劉キンや後漢末の宋忠による増補を経て、西晋の皇甫謐『帝王世紀』に採用された。『帝王世紀』では、黄帝が炎帝（神農）の子孫に勝利して帝王となった後、黄帝の子孫である少昊（青陽）・センギョク・コク・摯・堯・舜・禹が一代ずつ帝位を継承したとする。一方、緯書の歴史観はそれとは全く異なり、代表的な『春秋命歴序』では、炎帝・黄帝・少昊・センギョク・コクはそれぞれ王朝の始祖となり、その帝位はそれぞれ八代・十代・八代・二十代・十代にわたって世襲されたとする。そのほかにも、黄帝と炎帝を兄弟とする虞翻・唐固の説や、炎帝と神農を別人とするショウ周の説があった。それらの多様な歴史観の中で、鄭玄説は、緯書の歴史観を基本としつつ、炎帝と神農を同一の帝王とする劉キン説をも踏襲したものであった。三国時代の魏において勅命によって行われた張融の評定では、緯書や鄭玄説で語られる黄帝の玄孫「帝魁」を根拠として『史記』や『大戴礼記』の記述が否定されており、これは、魏において緯書・鄭玄説の歴史観が公認されたことを示している。一方、三国時代の蜀では、鄭玄説とは異なり、益州の伝統的な讖緯の学の立場から『史記』や劉キン説の歴史観が否定された。このような中、『帝王世紀』が『史記』や劉キン説の歴史観を基本として統一的な上古史を構築したことは、その歴史観を共通認識として定着させ、当時の多様な歴史観を収斂させることにつながったと考えられる。
