本研究の目的は、コーポレート・サスティナビリティの観点から 研究開発とCSRへの戦略的取り組みが持続的経営に結び付く経路とメカニズムを明らかすることであり、2022年度の研究実績は、(1) Diversity in the Workplace, Work-life Balance, and Organizational Productivity: Role of Innovation Capability; 　(2) Stakeholder Perceptions of CSR and Organizational Innovation Capability: Role of ESG Rating Agencies as Information Intermediaries、の2点である。(1)は、CSRと人的資源管理の関係性に注目し、対従業員CSRのコアとして職場の機会均等（EO）と従業員のワークライフバランス（WLB）が従業員のモチベーション（労働効率、革新力）を通じて、WLBは全要素生産性（TFP）の向上につながるかを検証し、日本ファイナンス学会（青山学院大学、2022年6月4日）において報告を行い、同学会における討論者・参加者のコメントを受けて、実証分析の枠組、方法および変数を再検討して、学術誌に投稿中である。（2）は、情報仲介機関としてのESG格付機関の機能に注目し、企業のステークホルダー・エンゲージメントと組織の技術革新力の関連に及ぼす影響に分析を進め、従業員と投資家の行動を通じて組織の技術革新力に及ぼす統合的効果と、ESG格付情報がその関係に及ぼす効果を検出している。EESG ratings は、投資家エンゲージメントを強化するだけでなく、企業の社会的評価を通じて従業員の組織コミットメントを強化し、組織の技術革新力に正の効果を与えるという結果がえられた。この研究は、CSR, Sustainability, Ethics and Governance 9th International Conference 2023 (14th-16th, June, Santander, Spain (organized by Santander Financial Institute of UCEIF Foundation in collaboration with the Global Corporate Governance Institute)での報告が決定している。
