项目摘要

快適な書字を保障する書字支援ツールの成型にあたり、掌中薬指側になる円錐部分の中心軸と、ペン軸上部とペン先、それぞれの指との接触位置を結んだ線との角度を再検討した。前年度は、型取り後の修正はデータ上でしかできなかったが、今回は粉末樹脂を固めた型を作成してツール自体を切断し角度を変えながら実際に把持して調整することができたため、理想的な形状を導き出すことができた。それを70パーセントに縮小した児童用も成型し、手の大きさに対応できるようフェルト製のツールも制作した。また、左手書字用も作成した。書字活動の意義については、高齢者を対象にした短歌作りの交流や高校生のキャリア教育に関連した自分探しの為の書字活動を通して、書字が情動を揺さぶる「生きたことば」の醸成に繋がることを確認した。「書表現」については、表現の意図や印象を言語化、文字化することの効果を検証した。近年では、漢字仮名交じり書や可読性の高い文字を題材にした書が「読める書」として奨励されているが、「書を読む」とは、書かれている文字の意味が分かることだけでなく、運筆の遅速緩急や墨の潤渇などで生まれる毛筆の多彩な線質と、点画の結構や気脈の貫通などによる字形の妙味などを感じることである。その際、表現経験の有無と言語化された表現の意図が関係して、表現と鑑賞とが相乗効果を生み出す。国語の授業におけるICTの活用については、授業展開の中での電子黒板の使い方を具体的に検討して、効果的な活用のポイントを明らかにした。留学生に対しては、コロナ禍で来日できなかった間は書写の「手書き」実技指導をオンラインで行い、来日後には対面で授業を行った。ICTの活用が「手書き」軽視に結びつくことを懸念する声もあったが、決してそうではない。ICTを効果的に活用して手書きの意義を生かしてこそ、グローバル社会における国語力を育成できるということを再認識した。
