極値データ(最大値と最小値のデータ)を扱う極値統計においては、データ数が極めて少なくなる、という統計解析における致命的な問題 ―小標本問題― が発生する。一方で、近年、計測・情報技術の高度な発達により、対象とする事象だけでなくそれに至るまでの過程に関するデータ ―モニタリングデータ― が得られるようになってきた。そこで、対象とする事象に関するデータのみでなく、モニタリングデータを用いると情報が増え、より精度の高い解析を行うことができると考えられる。本研究では、極値統計における小標本問題を解決すべく、モニタリングデータに基づく極値理論とその統計的推測理論の構築を行うことを目的としている。本年度に得られた主な成果を以下に挙げる。(1) モニタリングデータの一つである劣化データに対し, レヴィ―過程の一つである逆ガウス過程の混合変量モデル化を行った。(2) 上記混合変量逆ガウス過程の最尤推定について、その解の存在と一意性についての定理化と証明について研究を進めた。(3) 上記混合変量逆ガウス過程に基づく、加速劣化試験における最適試験計画について開発を進めた。(4) ブロック最大値データにおける統合された分布である一般化極値分布(GED)において、全てのパラメータ範囲において一意に推定値が求められる推定法に基づく漸近理論の構築とそれに基づく区間推定法、及び仮説検定法の研究を進めた。(5) モニタリングデータの一つである, リチウムイオン電池の容量維持率に対する劣化現象に対して、レヴィ―過程の一つであるウィーナー過程、及びその各種混合変量モデルのフィッティングについて研究を進めた。(6) 上記で検討中のリチウムイオン電池の劣化モデルに基づく、逐次最適試験に関する検討を行った。
