项目摘要

本研究は，ナラティヴ・アプローチと教授学習過程論の立場から、認知症介護における「希望(将来の望ましい可能性)」のナラティヴの生成過程とその意味、さらにナラティブの創造を可能にする介護者の関わりや学びを明らかにすることを目的とする。2022年度は当初、研究の最終年度として，対象となる日本とフィンランドの高齢者施設での観察調査と，フィンランドの研究所訪問等を計画していたが、COVID-19の世界的流行の継続により遂行できなかった。そのため国内外の作業療法士に対し、オンライン・インタビューとメールによる質問調査を実施した。また過去の観察データと現在のインタビューデータを質的に分析し、国際学会でオンラインによる発表を行い、英論文を執筆した。さらに国内外の研究者たちと、メールとオンライン・ミーティングを介した意見交換を定期的に行った。分析結果から「希望」のナラティヴは、作業療法士と認知症高齢者が想像世界を協働的に創出する中で生じる、認知症高齢者ー想像世界ー作業療法士の三項関係として捉えることが重要であると考えられた。さらに作業療法士が、想像世界について探求を深めると同時に、想像世界についての認知症高齢者の思いや声(voice)を聴きとろうとする対話的な「介護者のあり方(ways of being)」が、「介護するーされる」関係を超え、互いに想像世界について学びあう対等な三項関係の成立につながることが明らかになった。この「介護者のあり方(ways of being)」は、教育・保育場面での「大人のあり方」(Ferholt, et al. 2021)と密接に関連することから、認知症介護での想像世界（ナラティヴ）の協働的な構築は、幼児期に端を発する生涯発達過程として捉えうる可能性が示唆された。
